Colombian-born designer Amelia Toro got her start in the fashion world as an assistant to designers Gianfranco Ferré and Pino Lancetti. With her own label, Toro is dedicated to the empowerment of single mothers by providing them with opportunities and employment. She also partners with indigenous South American tribes to incorporate their artisanal crafts into her designs, such as the colorful bags and gorgeous scarves in this collection.
