Rita’s decorated dresses are the ultimate in statement-making, party cool. From a young age designer Rita Yu loved painting, winning prizes at school, town and city level. At university she studied fashion design, and after graduation, worked in multinationals on womens brands, culminating in 6 years as a Chief Director for a well-known womens brand. Feeling restricted in an overly commercial environment, Rita decided to start her own couture brand in 2013. Her hobbies include oil painting and travel, where she often finds inspiration. Rita’s designs show a rich diversity of expression, using different techniques and materials.
